5.1 Laboratory tests
L’OREAL requires its suppliers to deliver products with a minimum level of quality. As a consequence, L’OREAL takes the right to make realize some tests, independent from the supplier quality controls, by an independent laboratory chosen by L’OREAL. Thanks to these tests, the conception of the articles will be validated on the first articles produced.
For example, it is systematically realized for articles covered by a specific cahier des charges.
These tests may consist in: 1. Documentary tests;
Documentary tests consist in the verification of the validity of a document like a certificate.
2.Regulatory tests;
Regulatory tests consist in the performance of the regulatory standard(s) requested in a regulation.
3.Quality tests;
